Silver Class · Klungkung, Bali
A silversmith studio in Klungkung
Hands-on silver classes, and two jewelry lines made with Bali in mind.
Our story
Vishakawa Silver Class Klungkung
Vishakawa is a small silversmith studio in Klungkung, the east Bali regency known for its long metalsmithing heritage.
Klungkung is home to the Kamasan tradition of smiths and painters, and working metal by hand is part of the place. We built the studio around that idea: a bench, the right tools, and time to do the work properly.
At the heart of the studio are our silver classes. You sit at the bench, shape and finish the metal yourself with guidance at every step, and take home a silver ring you made with your own hands.
Alongside the classes we offer two jewelry lines, KILAU and MEDINI. Both are gold-toned and gold-plated, and each has its own character, described below.

Klungkung, Bali
Craft that belongs to a place
Klungkung’s smiths and painters have shaped the regency’s identity for generations. We see our studio as one small part of that story. We teach silversmithing patiently and plainly, and our jewelry takes its cues from the flowers, offerings and ceremonies that fill everyday life here.
The jewelry
Two lines, two moods

Statement · Gold-plated brass
KILAU
Bold, sculptural pieces drawn from Balinese floral forms: leaf rings, starburst studs and flower earrings made to be seen. Shot in a lace kebaya for Galungan and across warm teak tables.

Delicate · Gold-plated
MEDINI
Fine floral shapes and pearl drops for everyday wear. Quiet on their own, easy to layer, and photographed in bright studio light and in a Bali garden among bougainvillea.

Sketch, shape, set, polish
Work in the studio moves from a pencil sketch to pliers, setting tweezers and the polishing wheel. In a class you follow the same path at your own bench.
What we hold to
Rooted in Klungkung
Klungkung has long been a home for smiths and painters, from the Kamasan tradition onward. Our studio works in the shadow of that heritage and tries to earn its place in it.
Learn at the bench
Our silver classes are hands-on from start to finish. You work the metal yourself, guided at every step, and leave with a silver ring you made.
Clear about materials
KILAU is gold-plated brass. MEDINI is gold-plated. We say exactly what each piece is, so you know what you are wearing and how to care for it.
